Uncle Cotto vs Nephew Cotto...

Wow. Well you know I can't say I am surprised. I tend to follow many fighters and their respective backgrounds and Miguel Cotto and his uncle Evangelista Cotto have continuously had their problems and spats. This however is a complete surprise. Throwing bricks at Miguel? This is really, really pissed. And punching one of the top WW's at the moment? You have balls old man! Either way this is problems for Miguel Cotto in his upcoming bout. His trainer/uncle has been there for many years and that can't replaced in under two months. The wise money now is on Joshua Clottey no matter who you want to win. This is no easy feat to replace a trainer, especially one who got you this far, this close to a major defense of your title. If I was Bob Arum, I'd either be delighted as hell(considering Cotto is all but out of his contract and none too pleased with Top Rank), or sad to see his one big draw getting sidetracked/distracted from his defense with a foe in Joshua Clottey who has the skills to take that title from him, but not so much in the fan department as Cotto drives the PR crowd/revenue like no tomorrow.

Having Buddy makes nil sense to me. What's his brother doing these days? I'd say he'd know his stuff and would let Miguel be the leader, wouldn't be to interuptive and a decent fill in, then get a new trainer after the fight.
