Miguel Cotto and Trainer/Uncle Brawl During Camp

what miguel brought to the table was a plan to set the training camp in tampa and not puerto rico. this because he has too many distractions.(drinking, women, drinking, hanging out with shady "friends", drinking, his lifestyle with his wife, & drinking again.)
he has no discipline on that behalf. evangelista is right to tell him to stop screwing around with such lifestyle.
but miguel knew that evangelista would not make camp away from puerto rico. this because evangelista is the only family member who takes care of his sick mother. he can't be away for 2 months while she's very ill. obviously, miguel doesn't care too much about his grandma's health. plus he knew evangelista couldn't go away & that offered an excuse to fire him from his corner.
but everyone should remember that evangelista may not be in his corner, but he's still his manager.

Cotto should get a Trainer like Nacho Beristain, who is a great Trainer and dont have that Manny fighters.

hey dude if cotto wants to get away hes damn right to do so, one of the biggest fights in his life and he needs the best training. If evangelista cant do the job then he shouldn be doing the job. Ur telling me someone who gets paid 100,000 of dollars a fight cant hire someone for a few months to take care of his sick mother? hect for 10000 dollars il gladly do the job. Especially in puerto rico, will be easy to find someone dependable down there. Cotto career is more important then evangelistas personal problems.

WOW, this seriously changes things. I hope they both forgive each other and learn from their mistakes and listen and work things out with eachother, after so far they cant just call each other quits like that, they both need each other equally. This is a serious issue for his match, all that time wasted PLUS all the stress they will both go through can really damage the fight, i hope this can solve soon man for real, Cotto is my boy and Evangelista is a great guy too.
