Hopefully Cotto can either patch things up with his uncle or find a good trainer before the Clottey fight comes. Isn't Clottey suppose to fight a mandatory anyways? So Cotto would have more time.

What happened here was that the guy that wraps Cotto's hand had a problem with guess who? Evangelista Cotto, so he was left off the team, this guy has tons of experience and is known to be the island best handwrapper, he is also the guy that checks out the opponents hand wraps.

According to Evanglista they sent some other guy from team Cotto with no experience and he did not see anything strange DUUUUHHHH...

I heard this straight from a Evangelista Interview, about the problem with Evangelista and the other guy he mentioned it without the details but it's also a known rumor in PR gyms.

They are fighting June 13 at MSG on the eve of the Puerto Rican Day Parade.

I doubt Clottey is fighting a mandatory. The fight can't be pushed back, arrangements needs to be made for MSG, promotion, marketing, sponsors. Cotto fighting in NY against a NY fighter before the parade is a HUGE event.

            That Decision cost Cotto Millions...
Because I am not going to lie..
If Cotto would have beat Margarito he would have a legitimate claim to the ring belt and one step closer to becoming undisputed in the ww division.

Also the Hype for a Cotto vs. Floyd fight would have been beyond anything I could argue against...

Cotto's uncle fucck up big with that decision to fire that dude...

Hopefully it can be made, I don't think the lay off will effect Clottey too much. But it's a shame Judah got a fight on the Roy Jones-Calzaghe under card, yet Clottey can't even get a fight with his last mandatory who was Cintron.

Miguel Cotto and Trainer/Uncle Brawl During Camp

A heated relationship between WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto and trainer/uncle Evangelista Cotto reached a boiling point during a day of training camp on Wednesday afternoon in Puerto Rico. The relationship between the two may be over. In the past the two have had disputes during camp, but nothing like this. [details]
