Thompson had been stopped five times in his career, by such notables as Crawford Ashley and Yawe Davis at light heavyweight! These must have been great fighters, to KO the man who defeated David Haye!

Johnny Nelson, Ezra Zellers and Ralf Rocchigiani also knocked Thompson out. Zellers had him down four times before knocking him out!

All these men must have been very powerful, because the great David Haye wasn't able to hurt Thompson!
