I'm not convince by a first round knockout. Paul Williams could of come in with loaded gloves and we would never know just because he won in the first round. So a guy beats you in a big fight and you can get lucky in the 2nd. Quintana was disturbed by Paul Williams team. He wasn't sure he would fight him untill the last month. They were playing games and that could've distract his training.
Who got lucky? Quintana or Williams?

Lets say the first fight was a learner and PW comes out a winner.. He was an impressive avenger.. In fact, Williams is a born winner in many respects as his popularity seems to be multiplying.. Good luck to him..Comment

then nothing can convince you because a 1st round KTFO is as convincing as it gets in boxing.

well, I say Quintana really underestimated PW on the Rematch. A third fight is a most
George Foreman vs Joe Frazier
Roy Jones vs Atonio Tarver
Erik Morales vs Manny Pacquiao
Israel Vazquez vs. Rafael Marquez
Julio Cesar Chavez vs Oscar De La Hoya
Jermain Taylor vs Kelly Pavlik
Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castilo
Fernando Vargas vs Shane Mosley
Vernon Forrest vs Ricardo Mayorga
Kermit Cintron vs Margarito
And this is just the ones I could think of for right now!!!!Comment

You look at the world through very different eyes as most people I know.
See to me the long sustained beating over 12 rounds is a much more impressive way to win a fight...as opposed to just getting caught by a punch and being "ktfo" as you put it.
I don't really understand while Pwil gets the benefit of having a bad night or over looking a guy...but Q gets caught with a lucky punch(I only call it lucky because they already went 12 rounds and Pwill couldn't hurt him with anything) and isn't deserving of the same benefit.
I wonder why that is? HMMMMMM...somebody please help me with this conundrum.Comment

So to you getting caught by a punch in the first round(can happen to anyone as the saying goes) is a more impressive way to victory then 12 rounds of a boxing lesson where a fighter wins just about every exchange of punches and busts up the fighters face without getting so much as staggerd by anything the other fighter throws at him???

before my time can't comment on this
wasn't a 1st round KTfO

the traded KOs, not a decision for a KO

that was a rermatch not a rubbermatch

epic fail for each one.

The round where a fighter can come out cold...or not properly warmed up or could have been distracted or many other things?
Seems to me if Pwill would have wooped his ass for 3 rounds and then knocked him out and showed some kind of boxing supremacy I would look at it as a much more devastating win...and not just Q had an off night...or his head wasn't in the fight.
Lucky punches happen all the time....Embarrassing 12 round ass woopin/boxing lessons seldom ever happen.Comment
