I think Khan's speed could potentially give Hatton problems, but his lack of ring experience and questionable chin work to Hattons favor. I saw an interview where Khan said the sparring with Manny was 50/50, in that sometimes he came out on top, sometimes Manny so judging by that he might be able to withstand Hattons pressure.

Khan is arguably as quick as Pacquiao and Hatton couldn't deal with the speed too well.

Khan also hits pretty hard (not like Pac but still hard). That could deter Hatton.

If Hatton deteriorates (as he has been doing for 2 years now) and Khan continues to improve (how can he not, he spars with Pacquiao regularly and is trained by the best trainer in the world) then it's not inconceivable of Khan beating Hatton.

I would rather see Hatton fight Witter if he wins his next fight, but after last night i think Khan has a chance and Hatton will never be the same imo after such a brutal KO, but Khan has a terrible chin so if Hatton does land a big punch he could easily take out Khan.

I'd prefer the Witter fight at this stage. Don't know if Hatton would take it anytime soon though with Witter's switch hitter style, he'd have to fight a southpaw again.

Agree that it may be Hatton's reirement fight, but seriously, even if it turns out Amir can take a punch at the higher weights, and Hatton takes some pretty bad beatings between now and then, Hatton still wins by murder.

Even after the weekend I stand by my original post.
