I think if Khan keeps improving over the next 18 months against progressively tougher opposition, he'd have a chance against Hatton come fight time.

In light of the Pacquiao 2nd round KO, Hatton might have just lost some of his star value in the States. If Ricky continues fighting I think a Khan match in the UK becomes more realistic for various reasons. Primarily, it might now be the most lucrative match up available for Hatton, but also Khan's affiliation with the Roach camp might compel Hatton to seek indirect revenge through Khan.

He could do. Hatton is still dangerous and probably has the power to KO nearly anyone in the division if he lands enough power shots cleanly. According to Roach, Khan is as quick as Pacquiao but he still has a lot to learn and a questionable chin so it'd be a very entertaining fight. I don't think a Khan points win is a completely absurd idea after Hatton's last performance, but it's also equally possible that Hatton could KO Khan in a short-lived fight.
