Saw all of those fights,and yes I consider Pascal a test.He surprised a lot of people and is a young,hungry up and coming fighter who should go on to better things.

Pascal's team hs put things in perspective, if he couldn't decisively beat Froch a new champ, noway he beats Taylor, Kessler, Bute and which is why he is going to LHW for Diaconu.

I respect what your saying,but there is no contradiction.We saw how good Pascal is that night and he is very good.Taylor has a great resume,but Froch isnt fighting his resume,he is fighting a Taylor that doesnt look as good as he did 5 years ago.I think its going to be a great fight.I think Froch will win,but its damn close,so I wouldnt be surprised if it goes either way.To say Froch has no chance is as disrespectful as it is ******.

i would not disrespect froch, hes a world champion and hes british so in a patriot sort of way i hope he wins but to be brutal i think he has made a mistake in thinking he is better than he his, i like him when he lashes calzaghe and warrens wbo belt etc etc and i enjoyed the fight with pascal but froch hit pascal with bombs and pascal has been down from a left hook and from body shots before that fight

i think you make a good point taylor is fighting froch styles makes fights thats why taylor beat hopkins hopkins beat pavlik and pavlik beat taylor thats what makes boxing frustrating a beats b but does beat c if you get what i mean.

i think speed will be the weapon of choice and experience, taylor has seriously better hand speed and more experience plus he also has that hunger from wanting to be a champion again.....

in the 2nd pavlik fight i thought the scores were a bit harsh for taylor i had the fight alot closer (i had a decent bet on pavlik that night so am not being biased) so i dont thinik weight makes a big different because taylor is a big guy but i do think frochs loose defense will be a big factor in taylor being able to hit with his jab, the jab is the best defense a boxer can have because it affects everything that his opponent does

watch the holt vs bradly fight and when holt choose to jab the fight was easy for him but he stop doing it

if taylor manages to get his jab off its good night for froch but froch needs a fast start if hes gonna be a factor in this fight

i believe that speed generates power, and he fact is power is nothing if you can see it comming. The ones that hurt the most are the ones you dont see..... speed is the best way to kill.... power alone is almost useless

Good post,I have Froch to win,but a lot of that depends on which version of Taylor shows up.Other people have assumed that because I think Froch is gonna win I must think Taylor is ****,which is a bit sad really because I think JT is a superb fighter.
