Ever seen a Joe Calzaghe or Hatton fights in the uk? How the fight gets stopped way prematurely.

yeah, I remember Lacy vs Calzaghe as a prime example of how a fight was stopped early.

Talking about the other fights genius, stop just picking one fight to look at. That was a major fight between 2 name fighters, of course they wouldn't do it then.

The referee was Raul Caiz Sr anyway...

I think the fight are often stopped early in the UK, possibly to prevent injuries such as Eubank-Watson II, McClellan-Benn, Ingle-Botile which resulted in bad publicity for boxing.

That was after 12 rounds of grueling boxing, they stop fights way earlier then they should for some fighters. As if frank warren pays pocket money to protect his fighters from getting an upset loss against some bum.

It's because over here we are more focused on the boxers health instead of making them fight to the death. Grueling wars are fun to watch, but at the end of the day the boxers health is at risk.

Manfredo almost got killed by Calzaghe!!! Calzaghe left permanent brain damage on Manfredo. That is why manfredo went on to get ko'd by bika so quickly.

Manfredo clearly had no chance and didn't deserve to be in the ring with Calzaghe so i don't really care.
