Hatton won't be clinching much against Pacquiao, because Mayweather Sr refuses to let him - which is why Hatton didn't clinch once against Malignaggi. Perhaps if Pacquiao hurts him, but not generally.

Once Hatton gets rocked, he's going to revert back to what brought him to the dance. Mark my words.

Holding is ILLEGAL,you can ONLY CLINCH/HOLD when hurt.Fighters hold because of a lack either of CHIN(HATTON,BERTO,KLITSHKO)or because of age,ie .HOPKINS can't fight 2 minutes a round anymore forget 3 so he uses an ILLEGAL tactic to waste time and get thru not only rough patches but at this point in his carrear THE WHOLE FIGHT!!!

Ricky's brawling style is actually what gives him a chance in this one, IMO.

If he tries to box his way in against the faster, more fluid Pacquiao, I see him getting completely ****d.

If he just eats his shots, walks him down, wrestles the living **** out of him, and fights a dirty fight, he could really deal out some damage to Manny.

That's the only way I give him a chance, honestly.

                  Too much excessive holding.

That said, too much of it is absolutely horrible to watch. My boy B-Hop has been guilty of it in the past.

But Hatton gets my vote for hands down the worst clincher in the game right now.
if you're clinching more than you're punching, that's an illegial tactic.

Even in their worst performances, Hopkins and Hatton threw more than they clinched.
