That's not quite true. If it could be proved that he didn't know, he's still responsible for the actions his trainer took on his behalf and should still be suspended. If it could be proved that he knew, it's much more serious in terms of the length of the suspension that should apply.

It's almost impossible to prove either way, but his actions so far have not helped his case, and in any case, most boxers don't believe it would have been possible for him not to notice that there was something wrong with his knuckle pads.

But if he really didn't know, why hasn't he condemned his trainer? Why hasn't he taken a lie detector test? Why hasn't he expressed outrage and shame over what he could have done to Mosley if he hadn't been caught?

All these things combined make most neutrals believe that the chances that he didn't know are negligible.

I can just imagine what was going trough the minds of Marg fans when the the plaster was found and he was subsequently KO'd brutally. I dont think anyone saw that coming. I know i didnt.

Like I said "real boxing fans" know the deal. Not biased fans.

I've already said he did it to himself.

However, you're not realizing that many people didn't like him in the last 4 years, and only recently started to respect him for his acheivements because taking on the best fight after fight is hard to argue against.

This fiasco has allowed them to say what they've truly felt regarding him.

If you can't see that, you're blind to reality.
Are you kidding? Do you know how many people bought into the "Most feared man in the world" ****? I'd say the majority of people loved him compared to those who didn't.

You said he "******ly" supplied the hate like it was some little innocent mistake or something. Hence why I said he did this to himself. End of. I didn't misread it. I meant that he did it to himself and it wasn't a mistake.

Anyway back to what I was saying, you're crazy if you think "many" people are hating him just because of how they hated him before. The fiasco is what people think about him NOW. They also go to question his previous fights because it's logical. It's not some ultimatum people have so they can hate Margarito anymore.

Plaster of Paris is a serious issue. The reason why people flipped out is because its serious cheating. It's not berated because it's Margarito. You even implied that people hate Margarito because it's him who got caught

Depending on who the fighter is, cheating is tolerated more than its berated.
Here's another thing if you want to stick with the "people are hating on Marg because they wanted an excuse to hate him."

HE STILL LOST TO MOSLEY. People would have thrashed for losing to Mosley, who many wrote off. He wouldn't be regarded as a good fighter, even with the win over Cotto. He'd have to prove himself once again in a Cotto rematch and Cotto would probably be the favorite. So either way, Margarito's "respect" still goes down. The plaster of paris only adds fuel to the fire, but Margarito's opinion would still go down. That's no "ulterior motive to hate Margarito"

The majority of the media writ Margarito off as a disgrace because that's what he was. He was attempting to cheat against Mosley, someone Cotto had already beaten. Which also brings in serious question if he's used it in other fights. Which is why people are outraged.

                End of story.
