then this mandatory business would not be a problem when making big fights/unification bouts.
True but no alphabet belt organization recognizes the other champs.

Next stop...the IBF. I would say the WBA should be the next stop, but they do have historical significance. too bad too, cause the WBA is probably the most annoying belt considering their decisions...

Ill tell you what...If one of the alphabet belts stepped up and started ranking EVERYONE in the division, regardless if they had another belt or not, I would consider them the one and only true belt.
      Hoorraaahhhh for the IBO.

shhhhhh! dont mention the IBO....I like their policies more than any other belt, but until weve gotten rid of at least two of the belts we have now, we simply cant bring them up. if we start supporting them now, wed end up with FIVE alphabet belts! what a nightmare...

which is the biggest problem with all of those ****** bastards. If one of them stepped up(preferrebly the WBC or the IBF) and started ranking other belts' champions, us boxing fans could unite around it and call it the only true title belt.

If every organization did that it would cause conflicts and you would see the same fighters fighting one another and the bottom tier of the top ten missing out on chances time and time again to fight for a world title.

Is the WBC the official belt for each weightclass? like the main belt? or something like that.

not true at all. fighters drop in and out of the top ten all the time. take a look at the Welterweight rankings now and the Welterweight rankings from two years ago. theyre quite different.

plus, you have all the fighters jockying for that number one position, so they would be forced to fight one another to get recongnition.

the bottom ten guys will always get the chance to fight for a title if they are really fighting the best available to them and fighting often.

and even in a worst case scenario, Id rather have the same few top fighters fighting one another than constantly having to see top level fighters fighting guys that arent even in their league, which very often happens with the alphabet belts mandatories nowadays.

It is really as simple as that, as the only reason the IBF is legitimate is because of their fighters and money. Cut them off and tell them to go **** themselves, cause they shot themselves in the foot.
                      Just a thought.
                      **** all that bruh.......

bottom line is, clottey fought zab in august, and was supposed to get that mando out of the way by feb. once the williams fight wasn't going through, he should've taken care of business...wtf has he been doing for the last 8 months?

if clottey gets stripped, its his fault this time, not the IBF's....
