When players in the NFL have a nagging injury they take cortisone shots pregame, often times even during halftime to numb pain.

Cortisone is classified as a steroid.

I dont get it really. I think in baseball people are so in love with the records. It's kind of weird really. You figure in sports like football and boxing where you physically beat your body up, there'd be more of a need for roids causing more of an outrage when guys get caught. Yet guys like A-Rod get destroyed for it.

You look at a guy like Rodney Harrison who got caught taking HGH after helping his team win a Super Bowl, and no one really cared.

Didn't Vitali receive longstanding injury problems from his kickboxing years? Don't know too much about it, just the impression I was under.

Yet he's going in on his thread about Ward and Conte... Interesting. Not surprised at the double standard though.
