though i dont believe thats the case in this story , there is such a thing so i dont know why everyone is laughing. what do people think the origional intent of hgh was ? i was to make muscles / bones etc heal faster and stronger.

Im a Holyfield fan, but im almost sure he took steroids. He suffered the same kinda symptoms aswell. Bad shoulder contracting hepatitis etc etc. Im cool with it as long as they are not using to enhance their performance on the night. I think Holyfield might have done to bulk up more than anything, he must of realized after the Bowe fight that he could not make it being as small as he was back in the early 90's

I dont have much of an opinion on it other than if this was another sport and Vitali was American, he'd be getting hounded by the media with steroid questions left and right.

With his history of steroid use combined with past injuries, it does make you wonder if he's on something.

Theres no doubt in my mind Holyfield took steroids. He even got caught red handed buying HGH. The American media just doesnt care about guys in boxing and football doing roids for some reason though. Only in baseball and olympic sports do people get killed for it. It was pretty much swept under the rug when Holy got caught.

Steroids are made for injuries, Larry.

When you build a muscle you are essentially beating it up to build strength. There's a reason why you are sore as hell after a good workout. Steroids help heal those muscles at a faster pace so you can beat them up again without the same hassle.

You are naive, if you dont think Holy has take them. Just look at the pictures of him from his early days as a HW to the Holy that fought Tyson. His traps and chest tell their own story so do the notorious side effects he has suffered from.

i really dont even care anymore when people get booked using them , because to be honest soooooooo many athletes do it its just become the norm . and people that think that excludes fighters / athletes in any sport from back in the day when people were all looked at as clean are just naive. fact is there just wasnt any testing and in this day of technology and internet and cameras , etc.. at every wich way, people just get booked a whole lot easier.
