I went to Everton away last season, and they barely sung, and I bet they have a reputation for it. Away fans always make more noise anyway, especially after a longish trip. But......generally Northern clubs (anything North of Watford) have better atmospheres in the grounds. I went to West Brom a few years back and I was really impressed.

London based clubs get a lot of stick for lacking the atmosphere of Northern clubs, but the North is grim and if they want to go all out into a furious little 90-minute sing-song after a hard week down the mines, who am I too judge? It warms the heart.

It's the same old story, we lose penalty shootouts because we let people take them who aren't scared to take one. Like David ****in Batty, it doesn't matter if they couldn't hit a barn door.

We will forever lose every single shootout until the end of time due to the 'volunteer' way of thinking. Although we did beat Spain in 96' in a freak incident. Let the players with the best technique take them.

i hope chelsea beats liverpool and wins the champions league but liverpool have been a tare lately and I dont see Chelsea winning, they dont have a playmaker like a Gerrard or Ronaldo, Quaresma has been bright everytime hes played but I think hes eligible for the champions league?

I remember it well. Lamparad, Stevie G and Carragher all missed. Hargreaves was the only one who actually (barely) scored.
