It's about time. Hopefully this is an eliminator of some sort so that Ward can enforce a mandatory. At this point, I don't think any of the top fighters will fight him unless they have to because he's good enough to beat them, but he brings no money to the table.

Ward brings money. He sells seats.
If he beat Miranda and maybe one other top 10 SMW, he will draw huge money for a title fight.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves, he has a panther in the way that want to end the dream now.

I used to be quite a fan of miranda. But, he seems to have lost his way abit. It's clear he doesn't have the skill at world-level but he has the strength and power. Ward better watch out for that right hand, but other than that i'd expect an easy UD for ward!
