No he doesn't, he is already naturally bigger, there's no reason to blow up to 175 where he would sacrifice some speed, there's no point, he'll need his speed against Cotto.

Clottey has the better defense but that's not true about Cotto having no defense, he barely got hit against Jennings and was boxing beautifully against Margarito in the first 6 rounds, apart from round 2 where he did get hit a bit. His defense has improved a lot.

Jennings was actually throwing some nice looking right hands in there but Cotto managed to block and slip most of them.

1. He wasn't running.

2. He did give angles, he isn't a master at giving angles but they were there.

3. I don't see how clinching has anything to do with boxing beautifully, clinching should be used at opportune moments but I don't think it has much to do with Cotto's boxing skills.

4. He used his jab well, and was landing some huge shots on Margarito behind the jab that Margarito just took flush, his head was swiveling around like a pinata.

Hell look good for a while throwing fast punches...then when he looks up and realizes they all landed on Clotteys guard and Josh isnt hurt...thats when Cotto will retreat and backpedal and get chased down and stopped.

Clottey is too big for him and will be a light heavyweight (175 lbs) on fight night...

Clottey has a good guard and chin..and its hard to land on his body.....

Clottey wil go to Cottos body with his triple left hook attack...

Clottey will eventually wear Cotto down and stop him with some big shots...

Cotto is a great fighter but damn he doesnt know how to recognize when a style is all wrong for you...

how am i hating on Williams? The information is clear as day. Williams chose Quintana over Clottey. Theres nothing else to say. You said something that was incorrect. I corrected you. You claimed someone was ducking your fighter (hating), I corrected you(correction). how is that hating?

u really think clottey with his long layoff will be able 2 execute your prediction. i dont think so, cotto has great timing. if u want 2 compare i think it will be like cotto vs mosley. cottos jab and timing will determine the fight.
