Valero my be overrated by some, but I think he is definitely under rated by others. Soto is the smaller fighter, and would come right in and trade with Valero: thats not the way to beat him. I would take Valero by KO. He isnt going to be stopped by anybody short of an elite fighter.

JCC was fed a lot of tomato cans before but did he ever KO all of them? the kid has power in his hands, you dont need rocket science to prove that.. the record speaks for itself..Comment

I think Valero KOs him, Soto have a solid chin, but his defense is nt that good.
And if your defense aint that good against a huge puncher like Valero that means your getting KTFO.
Guys like Guzman,JMM, Casamayor or Prescotto(Do to him being a huge puncher also) have a better chance!!!!!!!
Valero's defense is much worse and leaves himself open for the right hand, since he has a habit of not tucking his chin as he moves forward. This will make him an easy prey for Soto who is also a very good power puncher.
This would be a good fight to make since one of them is going to get KTFO. Since both fighters have ****ty defenses I believe it will come to who has the better chin and endurance.
This for certain will not be a boxing match, just an all out war.Comment

Chavez had no amateur career, Valero had over 50 amateur fights, before turning pro.Comment

The record against tomato cans might speak for itself...the record against real fighters will be different.
Soto is a proven world class fighter. Valero is a curiosity.Comment
