I've heard it is round 6 but I have just watched it again and Pazienza clearly lands to the body when Roy is on the ropes.

    Anyone?

It's unthinkable that someone can be that good, yet it happened.

Maan. Even though he didn't use it often, that was a hell of a jab he had. Roy was a ****in monster back then.

Just saw that round. Pazienza wasn't throwing punches. He couldn't find a way to get through Jones in that round. Jones' jab kept him at bay and he was very elusive to the very few punches thrown by Pazienza.

whats funny is that Pazienza only threw about 7 punches in whatever round it is youre talking about.

not getting once isnt that impressive when your opponent cant even get off 10 punches in the round.

Pazienza didnt do half bad, considering he was a blown up lightweight fighting a future p4p best who first had success at 160lbs.

Do you think there was a reason he only threw 5 punches?

maybe because he was totally outmatched in size, strength and speed, and scared to death of being countered? haha

Im not about to call Jones a defensive genius when he doesnt even have to use defense to avoid being hit. thats like a fighter running away from a big puncher the whole round, and then calling the big puncher amazing just because the other guy landed little to no punches the whole round.
