See all that about Jones loosing 25 pounds of muscle is a bit of an exaggeration. How much did he weigh in at for his fights at 175 on fight night? Im sure it was 180s.

So its more about 5-10 pounds of actual muscle plus some water weight and the benefit of not having to dehydrate.

      • **** voted wrong. I think Bernard does have the best resume of the 00's so far. Mayweather 2nd. Roy Jones had the 90's. If Pacquiao has a BIG year like beating Mayweather, Hatton, and some1 else, he could make a case for this decade.

        • Hopkins...fighter of the decade. no question. the only person he rivals is roy jones, and even though he lost to jones early in his career, he faced higher quality opponents and lasted well into his 40's. Jones played it safe most of his career and was still ko'd by guys hopkins beat.

Calzaghe also never faced the very best of his era...hopkins did. Easy, the fighter of the decade.

                • Hopkins, never been KO'd, some say he hasn't even lost this decade, dam fine resume, he's 103 years old, just put on a clinic against a formally undefeated champion in Pavlik. After a heartbreaking Calzaghe loss. The mans incredible. Personally I say he is the best, however I can see cases for others, I feel if Hopkins had've won the re match against Taylor there'd be no competition, those two losses really just stick in my mind, as debatable as they are, Taylor just isn't a good name to have two losses two when you're a guy of Bernards calibre.

His wins over DLH and Tito alone are better than any on Calzaghe's resume...
