Why did David Haye sign the contract if he didn't like it?

I'm referring to what happened on Dec 13 in Germany - Haye could have been arrested. for fu** sakes! And he has been EXTREMELY insulting in what he's been saying to the media about Wladimir.
He'll get what he deserves on June 20. The rematch clauses are meaningless, since there will be only one fight!

You realise I was taking the piss right?
Haye signed the contract because:
1. It will be his biggest payday even with the bull**** rematch clauses.
2. If he beats Wlad he will get the larger share of teh HBO cash and UK cash at the very least.
3. Assume any reply to a K sister post is taking the piss, it's funny how riled up they get over the slightest thing and how blindly they nuthug, it ammuses me to bait them.
Oh and,
4. He gots no where else to go and nobody else he wants to fight.Comment

It seems pretty obvious that the most interesting part of the future event is going right now. Fight itself will be one-sided without real chances for Haye.
So, how one, whose only profit would be the share of Setanta broadcasting on England can increase amount of money? Obviously by heating up interest to the fight which he will definetly lose.
Who really cares, what was in the contract and why Haye signed it if there will be no rematch after Wladimir's victory? All this talks about contract, Wlad's "fear" and other nonsense has only one reason - to promote the fight and to earn more money.Last edited by Norton; 04-06-2009, 12:09 PM.Comment
