Like I said Cotto has a good chance of KO'ing Mayweather, but it won't be Cotto vs Jennings 2...give Mayweather a little bit of credit.

Floyd will tapped Cottos chin with accurate punches just like Margarito and Mosley the difference being the latter two have "granite" chins and Cotto's known to have a "lesser kind of granite chin" ....... yes he has better defence he will definitely get hurt but getting KOd is a 50/50.

Hell nah! I predict Mayweather would win, but by decision. Still would like to see Cotto KO him.

I agree that Floyd will land a good amount of punches on Cotto, but you're forgetting that Cotto is precise with his also...he also has more power!

It will be a close fight, but seeing Cotto in action against good boxers like Mosley and Quintana,he seems at least to me,to hold his own, some may say who is Quintana,he is a very good boxer and just like Mayweather,he does not have that much power, but then u look at Mosley and u know he got big heat,Mayweather is going to have to stand and fight eventually and if he cant make Cotto respect him, thats all she wrote!!Besides that, its a pick'em fight and depends on who wants it more!!

I'd also like to add..thanks for reminding me D..

Cotto is very precise!..if he so happens to rock Mayweather FLUSH and make mayweather stand there tryin to shoulder roll..it might end EARLY..Corley can't finish worth a DAMN!..

but Cotto's accuracy and Precision..(almost always 40%-55%) would break through that shoulder roll..so that wouldn't be smart for Mayweather to do..

Mayweather would potshot all night..it'll ALL depend if Cotto prepares for 12 rounds of multi-tasking..

I agree with Mangler. Floyd would be able to catch Cotto due to Cotto's questionable defense and inability to STAY in the fight through fatigue. Anyone who thinks Cotto is untouchable should look at the punch stats from the Cotto/Margarito fight. Also, Cotto did not look good once he got tired against Mosley or Margarito.

People on here want to underrate every aspect of Floyd's game, but he is undoubtedly a devastatingly accurate puncher with power and unmatched defense. Do not forget how great Mayweather's camp is at game-planning for opponents. I honestly believe Mayweather would knock Cotto down a handful of times before the referee stops the fight.

Cotto hasnt fought what Floyd brings(Exceptional defence), A well conditioned version of Cotto that fought Mosley has the best chance imo.
I just dont see anyone being precise with Mayweather with Cottos output.

Combined Cottos skill and Body punch with Pacs speed and and Workrate with Margaritos chin and cement gloves and Mosleys steroids then Floyd will be KOed in round 1

Slow down a bit! Cotto's questionable defense? Cotto has great defense. I also did not see Cotto getting tired against Mosley, I saw him fighting smart. I am not going to talk about the Marg fight cause we all know what happened there. I am also not underrating Floyd's game at all...I simply said that he would not KO Cotto! It's just what I and many others think.
