Mayweather can't hurt Cotto!

im a little scared for floyd jr's brittle fists on this still hypothetical fight... plastered/unplastered marg hit cotto's profile repeatedly but cotto never went down involuntarily...

mayweather can very well ko cotto..

Mayweather is fast and cotto has been buzzed by mainly quick punchers..like corley, judah, and torres..

Mayweather isn't feather fisted neither as he was able to ko hatton..which i predicted..i wouldn't sleep on mayweathers speed/power combo..it may not be the most powerful..but it can do damage!!..

And cotto also has speed and his timing is better than anybody mayweather has faced..cotto would just need to mix it up and not try to be the agressor the entire night and pick his shots wisely..but combo up at the same time..and mayweather would not be able to handle 2 different opponents in the same ring..cotto has the tools to be one of the few out there to defeat mayweather...but he has to bring his a++ game..

All in all...

I'd probably say a mayweather decision would be the outcome..

I don't get the notion of PBF as this non-puncher.

His punches look like they hurt to me. The only guy he made no impression on in my mind is Baldomir, and his big old head is carved out of reinforced steel.

I agree that Floyd can hurt people, but I don't think he could hurt or get a KO fighting against Cotto. It's not because he doesn't hit hard or anything (not one of his strengths, but he defenitly hits hard)...it's just because Cotto can take punches.
