Huh? Joke vs B-Hop was much closer than Floyd vs DLH.

Hopkins-Calzaghe was a snoozefest. DLH-PBF was for feinschmeckers and Joe Average. A rematch would have been good for boxing.

Soooo, ignore the fact that Calzaghe was fighting nobodies while Mayweather was going through genaro, manfredy, chavez, corrales and castillo twice?

In fact, has Joe EVER fought an elite fighter under 40 years old?

thats some strange logic. as a promoter you usually want to make the most money out of a fighter. warren had to pay out of his own pocket for some of calzgahe's tomato can defenses cause joe refused to fight anyone worthwhile that the networks wanted.

joe was just a scared insecure lil man. as you can see by his refusal to fight glen johnson twice.

you maybe right as i said he def lacked confidence. but warren has a history of matching his fighters with bums. so its hard to determine who is to blame.

What are you talking about? They were both dire fights. In fact, didn't the first DLH vs Floyd fight turn away the casuals anyway?

If I was to pick a rematch I'd want to watch, I'd have gone with Joke vs Hopkins, it would have been much more competitive.

Tbh, even that I wouldn't be in a rush to watch, it'd probably have the same outcome. But the point I'm trying to make is that saying Floyd should have come back to rematch DLH is not a great reason to criticise him with. There are others, but not that. But if you are gonna use that, then you can't jus gloss over Slappy vs Hops, seeing as it's a comparison thread between Joke and Floyd

yes he did and yes he is. you're trying to be sarcastic saying he's an all time great but he has the same exact resume as calzaghe lol. you realize this right?

anyway calzaghe was too scared to fight a guy ottke beat. says a lot. probably cause ottke has a running defensive style and calzaghe's come forward throw a lot of punches style would get eaten alive vs johnson. joe isn't as dumb as he looks. he knows he loses vs johnson.
