The De La Hoya that fought Pacquiao wasn't the same one that fought Mayweather, you stated if he won you would give him respect... no respect given, I have never seen you give him props. As I said, I got nothing against you... I am just saying maybe you should be more fair, you are too critical... and give him no props, maybe if you did people would respect your opinion on Floyd a bit more if you get what I mean?

That's fair enough, you have given him his credit there (though I have never seen it before until today), and I understand what you say about earning respect. At Super Feather - Lightweight he did great... offered Mosley a fight but he was just moving up to Light Welter. At Light Welter he wanted to fight Tszyu, Hatton, Cotto but none of them wanted it (Cotto is understandable he was still young, but you can't really blame Floyd for Light Welter because he was ducked there). The only division I can really say he could have done more in is Welterweight, but he decided to retire... whether it was to let his body heal, boredom of the sport, etc. he decided to retire (though you gotta admit if his heart isn't in it he should stay retired).

If Floyd fought Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao would you finally respect him for what he has done? Where as you have said fairly it was the division he could have proved more in (let's wait and see if he does come out of retirement and fights these).

I mean, I don't really think he has anything else to prove... he has had an excellent career and achieved a lot and has plenty of money, I mean I would like to see him come out of retirement for a few more fights... but only if he has the desire to win them and his body is in good enough condition to carry on fighting or whatever (you get what I mean).
