Its a coincidence the WW division was red hot around the time he decided to call it a day
he was the welterweight kingpin..beat the man who beat the man...beat undefeated hatton...**** his 147 run wasnt terrible

Well a win over Baldy should secure him a spot in the top 10 ATG list then shouldn't it, because Baldy was a tremendous Welterweight champion wasn't he

Mayweather chose to fight Hatton a smaller guy from a lower weight divsion rather than face a guy in his own weight division.......... Miguel Cotto who had just ripped Zab Judah a new one.

Id tell them he was great but he didnt prove himself at welter weight. Also that for a top guy his cv is poor. If he came back and had a mini tourney against the top 2 welters now mosley and cotto i might say something different. But i expect floyd to take the winner of pac hatton and sail back into retirement again. Maybe his fans should make it clear to him that he has to prove he is the best welter and not just say it

I beat baldo and juddah give me the p4p crown now!!!!!! wwaaa wwaaa wwaaa !!!!

In 20 years, if i ever have children, i'd say that Mayweather was a brillant boxer who accomplished many things in the ring. Plus, he was a money grubbing whore disguised as a business man. I'm not hatin on the player, i'm just sayin that Floyd was more interested in the business aspect of boxing rather than the fight itself and the glory. I'm not sayin Mayweather can't fight either, cus the player gots maaaad squabbles, you can't fcuk with Floyd.

Anyways, so Floyd was an elite boxer in the 90s and the early Millenuium, but he didn't fight everyone out there the. If you're a king, you have to conquer everyone and everything out there. That way no one can question your authority.

If i were Mayweather, or in his position, i would fighting everyone and anyone out there for whatever price in a certain amount of time, then call it quits.

Mayweather's super dope, he just ain't on my list.

If he was the real deal his resume would support that. He is not above Pacquiao resume wise, and how is that when they fought in the same era ?
