I'll tell em he was one of the most complete fighters in the history of boxing. He had it all!! Speed, Power, Accuracy, Stamina and Footwork. I'd tell em he'd rank top 5 in most skilled fighters

yea but the people who do know him all basically admit the greatness that was Chava and can't stop raving about him. with floyd he is a lot more known only because well he's had a "longer" career more exposure and because of his mouth. a lot of people didnt start learning about Chava till near the last couple years of his life because he fought most of his fights in mexico!

I think when time comes everybody will see how good the fight was.

I believe than Mayweather jr was one of the best in his era after Hopkins lost to Taylor he is the p4p king for couple of years which is impressive.

it not even his wins but also how he wins it and execute his boxing.

He meant while he was active

              Mosley rejected Floyd

              Pacquiao was at 130

Plastercheeto was a WBO trinket holder and if Floyd fought him people would complain that Floyd ducked the lineal champ in baldomir

Cotto was the only one Floyd should have fought

I'd love to see him fight Pacquiao but Floyd doesn't need to take that fight. Pacquiao isn't a welterweight. People will dismiss it as Floyd picking on a smaller fighter. And once again, Mosley turned down a fight and now he wants a payday before he goes. Mosley's out of his prime, Cotto isn't.

I'd show them a dvd of Mayweather fights against Corrales, Gatti, Baldomir, Judah, De La Hoya, Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao and afterwards I say "Look son, That's Floyd Mayweather Jr".

I think I agree with you on this one.

But Bob Arum and Floyd Mayweather had some problems with him. Also before that both were fighting for Bob Arum which makes it a tough descsion for Arum to choose which fight to win or lose. espeically if they are undeafted.

But I think Floyd could beat Cotto but it wont be easy. Fights are never easy to win even if it looks like it.
