bob arum only says this stuff when he is worried about a fight...he did this before the pac-marquez 2 in order to influence the judges by saying before hand that pac would fight hatton next....now in just a matter of 3 or 4 days....hes saying pac will fight cotto, mayweather, or now valero....bob is worried about ricky just like he was worried about marquez....he cant afford golden boy promotion guys to win or he loses money...so he influnces the judges by saying this bull****

Bob Arum is just throwing every name in with everyone to keep people talking. It's what promoters do.

In my opinion a Valero vs Marquez fight sounds good and Arum is talking a bit of sense when matching these two in the same sentance as Valero and JMM have been in the mix for a long time now to fight Pacquiao next so why not narrow it down and have an eliminator and let them two battle it out with the winner getting the main prize.

Maybe Arum is slightly worried and this way he has a chance of Marquez losing so he has a good excuse for Marquez/Pacquiao to not happen.

true...i just dont see valero in big money fights yet....imo....i think marquez, pac, and hatton are in the big money category, but not valero....atleast not yet anyways
