Yes, when we say plaster we referr to all those who used plaster like Margarito and Resto.
The difference between Resto and Margarito is that the whole Puerto Rican community, country and their boxing commission expressed themselves against the cheater Luis Resto.
On the otherhand we have a lot of Mexicans (not all of them I must add) that still support and say that Margarito doesn't deserve punishment when he was caught doing the same thing that Resto did and with all the intentions to hurt a boxer same as Restos did, with the luck that he was caught before using the "loaded gloves". Hell we still have the Mexican Boxing Commission willing to let him fight and a city in Mexico willing to support the fight with this cheater.
This is not only a shame, but a disgrace for the Mexican people and it's country, same as it was a shame and disgrace for the Puerto Ricans when Luis Resto did what he did.

By the way Luis Resto was suspended for life and Margarito has been suspended for 1 year only when Luis created a prescedent and Margarito was following his same actions (trying to do the same thing Resto did). Shouldn't Margarito receive a greater punishement for having the clear intentions to do what Luis Resto did???????

Yea, but still we have to call it as it is. All the countries have their bad stories and people. And we can not deny that we have a great heritage of people that were raised in the States and from which we should be proud of.

If we are going to feel proud of people like Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, who are "Newyoricans" we have to face the fact that Luis Resto was one of ours also, even if we don't support him and probably wish that he wasn't a Puerto Rican.

Keep in mind that we have a great Puerto Rican community that lives in the USA because they or their relative have left in search for a better quality of life for them and their love ones. a lot of those people know more and care more for what happens to PR and their people than a lot more that live in PR.

By the way i'm one of the proudest PuertoRican in this website and the world, and i'm currently writing from Mississippi. Not because i'm visiting, because i've been living in USA since 2007.
