I think The Klitschkos were scared, and so they offered Haye a ****** deal thinking he would never take it and at least they could say they tried. And now he has taken it and they cant get out of it.

I won't be surprised if Wlad forefits the belt soon to haye and retires to avoid fighting him

Why didn't Haye take the same route as Thompson, Povetkin, and JC Gomez to a title shot, by defeating another contender?

His shortcut has a price.

Every chance he may have got caught out by a contender? Then he'd miss this title chance/all the money and hype that comes with it.

From a $ point of view and security wise signing the deal, as bad as it is makes the most sense. If he loses, unless by a close decision or real late stoppage I don't the rematches happening. If he wins then he stands to make a bit of coin with a re match and gets a chance to show it was no fluke, then ultimately he gets a chance to unify.
