  • very strange contract.

as weird as it sounds, it's going to attract a lot of attention/buys.

i hope haye knocks them out.

the klitschko's recent fights are so boring. despite being heavyweights, there's lil sparks.

    I Demand WAR!

As reported before, Haye had to agree to a three-fight Klitschko deal. Should he beat Wladimir, the next fight would be a rematch or a bout with WBC champion Vitali Klitschko. And if he beats Vitali, then it's another Klitschko rematch [with Vitali or Wladimir]. [details]
I beleive david haye is one of the couple guys that is capable of winning against the Klitschko's!

He could have earned his title shot, by defeating Dimitrenko or Arreola in a final eliminator. Thompson, JC Gomez and Povetkin earned their shots.

No one put a gun to his head, Haye decided to sign it.

What an idiot Haye is, to sign a contract and than cry about it afterwards.

Don't you think the 3 fight stipulation is a bit ridiculous? I mean come on. It's like "Oh, you can fight me, but if you beat my ass you gotta fight my big brother... and if you kick his ass too, you have to fight which ever one of us you kicked the **** out of the least..."

I'm glad the fight is happening but this contract is crazy. I totally understand a rematch clause, that's normal but this 3 fight deal is crazy.

On the other hand, if Haye beats Wlad, a fight with Vitali would be the fight I would want to see most, so I'm not gonna complain. I can see why Haye is like though..

That has always been my point, from the first threads announcing the deal to my latest posts, that has always been my only objection to the contract. You obviously can't read. Maybe you should invest in a pair of glasses.

And while he obviously has the right to call the shots, I have the right to criticise him for doing so in a way that is bad for the health of boxing.

Oh boy, for the umpteenth time, what's wrong with it is that it doesn't allow Haye to make any mandatory defences in between the three Klitschko fights, which means that even if he won all three fights he would be stripped of the belts, which means there won't be a unified champion at the end of it. That is and has always been my only objection to the contract.

                • Maybe there is a stipulation that should he beat Wlad, he can take on a mandatory before the Vitali fight.

No, under the contract he has to fight three consecutive fights against the Klitschkos, unless he loses.
