Try to imagine this fight without knowing what Vargas would go on to accomplish after his 15th pro fight.

Prior to his 15th fight, Vargas had not fought any notable opposition except for maybe Anthony Stevens who was basically a punching bag. In his 15th fight he beats Campas, who had previously been KOd by Jose Luis Lopez at 147lbs.

I think Angulo would have ****d that version of Yori Boy.

I voted Angulo cuz I like to pull for the underdog. I think Vargas would have a good chance of outboxing Alfredo, but if the outcome of this fight was a KO, I'd have to side with Angulo.

Well, Vargas was a good puncher. He had a lot of stoppage victories, but he was never a one punch, concussive puncher, the kind of puncher it would take to hurt Angulo. Kermit Cintron is that type of puncher; we'll see how good Angulo's chin is when he fights Kermit.

Angulo is bigger than that Vargas; one year prior to the Campas fight, Vargas weighed as low as 145lbs. Angulo is coming into his fights at 165 solid.
