For the same reasons Mexicans always fight for the WBC title.

None of the Puerto Rican bums are champs. I respect all of them, but i have to say its hard to respect Carita Lopez as a champion. He got the belt against a rather easy opponent eventhough it was a tough fight.

Who is the guy standing in between Cotto and Lopez?

Because the WBC is based in Mexico but at the same time why don't you see Mexican fighters ranked by the WBO?

                    dude,

there has been many wbo champions that are mexicans.

currently fernando montiel, manuel vargas and JJM hold the title.

the WBO may have flaws but they give the opportunity to any country.
