They count for P4P rankings, not divisional rankings. Thats absurd!!!!!!!!

It actually has only recently started becoming like this. Before the eighties you generally had to work your way up in each new division you entered. It's not always a fixed rule but it is much more common now that you can basically go straight to the top if you were already champ in another division.

Oh you could only wish they were that reasonable, they have him at #2 at 154.

DLH was a SWW fighting at WW for the first time in 7 years. Pacquiao had a great night. But rankings wise he doesnt deserve to be ranked in the top 10 WWs let alone #5. Thats justt ridiculous.
And Pacquiao was a lightweight fighting at Welterweight. DLH made the welterweight limit, drained or not. The facts are that DLH was supposed to crush Pacquiao. Pacquiao proved people, including myself, wrong. Collazo would have easily beaten Oscar, but I still don't think a win over Collazo would have been lesss impressive because Oscar going into the fight was supposed to kill him(that and Collazo going into the Berto fight wasn't generally regarded as much. A tough fight for Berto, but everyone knew he lost easily to Mosley) Pacquiao's performance also showed he was a top 5 welterweight imo. He'd beat Berto, Collazo, Quintana, and the fighters lower then the top 5. I don't see why this really matters anyhow seeing as Pacquiao isn't one, two, or three so it has no impact on the vacant belt. It also probably won't matter because Pacquiao will be exiting those ratings come May 2nd.

Also saying he doesn't belong in the top 10 is exaggerating .Tell me what Delvin Rodruiguez and Zab Judah have done to warrant being above Manny Pacquiao.

LOl At you Saying Pac would of beaten Quintana, Collazo or Berto. Simply ridiculous jajajaja LOL

Delvin Rodriguez had a draw with Hlatswayo(But he deserved to win) and he beated Alvarez whom gave Clottey a tough fight in a L.

And Judah, is a former WW champ end of.

PAcquiao should not be ranked as a WW period.

Beated DLH is not a excuse to have Pacquiao ranked that high.

Since the popularity of your opponent is a measure gauge ?

if mayweather was ranked #1 then pacquiao being ranked #5 sounds about right, they accomplished almost the same at 147 and many people think pacquiao could beat mayweather.

I guess they feel beating Oscar De La Hoya at 147 is a bigger accomplishment than what most welterweight residents have achieved lately

and think he looked like enough of a threat at 147lbs to secure a top 5 place

i don't agree exactly, but i can understand

                      for me, it's
                      1. Shane Mosley
                      2. Miguel Cotto
                      3. Antonio Margarito
                      4. Joshua Clottey
                      5. Andre Berto
                      6. Luis Collazo
                      7. Carlos Quintana
                      8. Manny Pacquiao
                      9. ummm
                      10. ummm

any suggestions for 9. and 10.??? have i forgot anyone??
