Am I wrong or are these numbers correct?

Anyways, my point is, the ****tiest boxers get more than 200 thou..How is MMA taking over boxing, let alone how is boxing dying(if it was really ever dying) when you have mediocre boxers getting millions of dollars? And wasn't there articles in the 1960s issues of The Ring Magazine talking about how boxing is dying?

What do you guys think? is boxing really dying or is it just getting so much attention and being stronger than ever that the fights promoters make, disappoint fans which leads them to say boxing is dead? I think it's the latter.

    Your opinions please..
Boxing will never be dead because us fans are here to keep it alive.

It's no where near dying, but isn't as nearly as popular as it was in the 60's, it's probably cause we dont have a exciting, strong not fat, American Heavyweight champ..thats what it is missing.

The electric atmosphere in the crowd for the Pac v Hatton fight will answer this question emphatically.

        I'd KILL to be there.

The only thing that would make me think boxing is beginning to die is if they take it out of the Olympics. I don't see that happening anytime soon as they are already talking about adding women's boxing.

The fact is, EVERYONE has a sweet spot in their heart for boxing. A great/interesting boxing fight will outdraw mma everytime.

Boxing clearly is losing popularity. When i talk about boxing i am in shocked when somebody knws a fighter that i name.

Boxing at its best will always be a better show than any of this phony martial arts. But a few good fights will not save boxing.

boxing is growing everywhere but america. maybe in the u.s. it's dying but u.s. is no longer the mecca of it and thus insignificant. the Klitschko-Gomez fight in germany saw 11+ million viewers (home televisions tuned in to the fight) and was broadcast in over 60 countries. LOL Please show me an mma show that can even get 1/10th of that.
