Floyd is a two division champion (135, 147). Oscar is a ONE division champion (154).

**** it, i dont really care. He's a multidivisional champ, who skipped a couple of weights on the way up. Great achievement for him, but hopefully Hatton will stop him
Wont get stopped, most likely. Nonetheless, he's a great boxer. Titles don't mean everything. But, he's just had the two, nothing AT ALL to be ashamed of. Especially when you consider who he beat to get them.

People will believe the dumbest ****. They take systems like the WBC or the IBF or the WBO, some so crooked and ****** that they've had DEAD GUYS ranked in their divisions. Then, try to find flaws in The Ring Magazine system.

          Great idea.

Bernardo Pinango June 4, 1986 - March 1987 (moved up to junior featherweight)

That's where the lineage stopped. How was Manny the champion? Being the best in the division doesn't automatically make you the TRUE champion.
He beat the no.1 Sasakul at that time...

Was he ranked number one or number two at the time he beat Sasakul?
If not, he's not the champion. A recent situation like that happened in the Montiel-Castillo fight at 115. Montiel was ranked 4 at the time, while Castillo was in the 1 spot. Montiel dismantled him, but he's not the champion. It doesn't work that way.

He's one of the best of this era no question.
But the only way I see Ricky winning is by KO, cant see him getting it on points. We'll just have to see how Pac handles getting hit at this weight. Just wish the fight was next week this build up seems to be taking forever.

if people are gonna claim that DLH is a six division champ, and floyd a five division champ, then pac is a five division champ

It's a weird feeling for me. The fight seems big, big event. However, I am not as pumped as I thought I'd be. Yet, it'll probably end up being the first PPV I order this year, and I know I'll enjoy it. Not to say I'm not SUPER excited about it. I think we've been spoiled with such good boxing lately. Lol.

Nonetheless, not AS pumped, still VERY excited.
