classic... a hatton fan accusing another boxer of too much holding.Comment

he was holding to prevent further damage... but never was out of his feet.. everytime hatton lands a perfect punch.. he hold for his dear life.. you can see his dismay when his corner stops the fight.. he wants to finish the 12 even when he have no chance of winning at all..Comment

True that Manny hasn't really been hit above 130. But he's taken some really good shots from JMM , got wobbled and recovered pretty quickly.
Try to make a poll. I want to see what teh neutral fans have to say.Comment

Paulie was holding on from early rounds, but it wasn't for dear life, it was because he had virtually no offense and no confidence in his hands to put out the combinations he needed to outscore Hatton - the only work he could do was limit the damage coming at him. Paulie can be cheeky with the holding and inside fuckery when he needs, I think he would have used some of that against Hatton anyway, but with 2 functioning hands he would have been able to mix it up with some notable offense, featherfisted or not, it would've made a significant difference to how the fight looked. Even the light work he did on Hatton in the first couple had him moused up under one eye and a little puffy.
Paulie's proven he can take flush, hard shots and keep his feet (most times) and his awareness (all times). We haven't seen Pac have to take a really good one above 130 yet, but I think his chin can stand up to a solid shot from Hatton. Hatton's got to land one, anayway, and I don't really see clean punching as his route to winning the fight. I see inside attrition, suicide bombing into Pac's chest, grabbing and hitting, holding Pac's head down to get uppercuts off, nasty **** like that. But Ricky says he's going to set traps and out-time him, which means he's pretty much dead if true. Maybe he'll be able to de-program in time enough to revert, then pray the official is permissive enough (because if he isn't, Ricky's up **** creek).Comment

lets turn the tables a bit now JB...
u still remember lazcano wobbling ur man towards the latter stages of their fight? it happened twice... now, imagine if it was pacquiao doing that?
hatton's defense is as weak as canada's ozone layer now man, while pacquiao's has been improving quite steadily...
this would be a great fight no matter what...
... and oh yeah, why are u comparing malignaggis chin @ 140 to something non existent? pacquiao has not fought @ 140 man... try harder next time...Comment

Pacquiao's chin has not been tested above 130. Diaz is a decent Light hitting Lightweight that was cherry picked by Pacquiao. What's Diaz' record 34 wins and like 16 or 17 KOs? Diaz has also been KOd by another light-hitter in Kendall Holt(only has like 12 KOs) I think in the 7th or 8th round, earlier round than Pac. Then DLH didn't even touch Pacman at all. So last time Pacmans' chin was tested was at 130 and JMM did wobble him.Comment
