  • At 140 does Malginaggi have a better chin then Pacquiao?...Think about it...

Pulie was never stopped before hatton stopped him....and paulie was getting clubbed by jabs and holding on for dear life, because he was afraid he was going to get knocked the **** out.......this is the same paulie malginaggi that had his jaw broke by miguel cotto and went the distance against him......tells you something about hatton's power if paulie was holding on for dear life.....

Now you have manny pacquiao that has never been hit on the chin above 130.....david diaz and oscar never touched him.....and keep in mind this is the same guy who was wobbled by a chin shot in the 3rd round against oscar larios.......

i say at 140 malginaggi has a better chin than the pacman....the results/evidence speaks for itself.....

    your thoughts?

Doubtful. Malignaggi has been rocked in EVERY fight since he won the first 'title' he ever held. Not exaggerating.

i don't know but a strong chin is useless if your feather fisted, the opponent will just keep pounding you till your cornerman drops the towel

What were Paulie's options except to hold on? He had a ****ed up hand, so even if he'd thrown punches to keep Hatton away the punches wouldn't have hurt. Holding was the only option he had.

Paulie has a good chin, Cotto and Hatton both clobbered him badly without ko'ing him, Pac on the other hand has been sparked twice by malnourished midgets.

Considering Cotto broke his hand in the 5th does not say much about Paulies chin. Paulie was knocked down in the 2nd round vs Cotto. Cotto is not a powerful chin checker, he is more of a body wrecker and then tries to check the chin but he is no softy either. After Cotto broke Paulie up, Paulie has never been the same. Does Hatton hit hard? I think he does because Floyd was afraid too. Do you remember how chicken shiet Floyd was against Hatton? All Floyd did for 9 rounds was duck below Hatton's waist. I am not sure what Manny's chin will be like at 140. Manny has not been in these waters yet so you can only speculate. I will be rooting for Manny but anything can happen and who ever wins, their stock will rise tremendously.

Pac got wobbled against Larios not by single punch, Those are 5-6 hard vicious punches...I even remember how fast Manny recovered after he got hit... I think Manny could take Hatton's shots...

Exactly...I think Paulie was pretty fragile actually...Pac has shown a pretty good chin...Some of the shots he took from JMM in the second fight showed that.

he could have covered up....but you could tell that he would have gone down several times but was able to fall and hold on to hatton....and sure he was featherfisted but i'm talking chins....i think everybody has pointed out that if somebody ahs the shaky chin its ricky....the only way ricky get ko'd is if he gases himself out...i.e mayweather....and people will point of the lazcano fight....ricky was never wobbled in that fight....he took shots in round 9 that average jr. welter's would have covered up or gone down....ricky kept moving forward like it was nothing
