Penalosa will be JM Lopez's biggest challenge, no doubt in my mind. Gerry is a little old now but I think he has what it takes to get a decision or even a K.O. People think JM Lopez is really good. Yes he has looked great and polished against his competition, but his competition has been crap. Penalosa is good, I don't expect him getting K.Oed, but who knows.
One more thing to add. You can't judge these guys on their performance of their fights with Ponce de Leon. Don't give a fighter a figt

Would that count as hispanic lineage?

You are definitely wrong. Former Superbantamweight Champ Daniel Ponce De Leon is not of Hispanic lineage. He is a proud native South American Indian. He prefers to be associated with his proud native Indian Tribe. Not all Mexicans have Hispanic lineage. Besides, many (neutral observers) scored the fight in favor of Champ Penalosa. He was definitely robbed of victory in that fight.

Why the 6 losses in his record? They were all not convincing losses. Go back to those previous fights. Daniel Ponce De Leon was running away from Penalosa after round 5. Not a true warrior at all. We just hope your champ (Juanma) would not do the same shameful "running act" and go all out with our champ.

See you on the 25th of April.

Ssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhh! Our champ is in hard training.
