Thomas Hearns Owes Nearly Half a Million in Taxes

According to a recent report in The Detroit News, former champion Thomas Hearns owes over $448,000 in back tax, according to state and federal record information obtained by the paper. The paper says that Hearns, during the course of his career, made an estimated $40 million by 1991. Hearns was recently talking about a possible return to the ring and his tax troubles might be the reason. [details]
