  • Winning brand - is it overrated?

What y'all think. To my surprise, I found out alot of people actually say that for the price, it's worth it.

Very comfortable and offers great protection.. if you take boxing seriously and want the best protection winning is what you want.

Its totally worth it. I have the all white ones. Considering getting the other two colors as well. 12oz of course. I want to fight using Winning.

I think they are underrated for power though. Mainly because I see Hozumi Hasegawa KO people with them on. He finished Vusi Malinga in the 1st round with Winning gloves on. Floyd finished Gatti. Damaged his face that much in 6 rounds with Winning on. Definately underrated for power though.

is it better to use lighter winning 12-14 oz for bag work? because i have a pair of 16 oz winning and they feel weird when i use them on the heavy bag. almost like they're to bouncy or something.

No way man, Winning is awesome. When I first started out I bought some of that Ringside **** and after sparring for 2 rounds my hands felt like ****ing porridge. I sent that **** back and went and got some Winning...pricy as ****...but I figured if their good enough to protect my man Erik Morales fragile hands they were good enough for me.
Never looked back. Winning is the Cadillac of boxing gloves. But be prepared to pay around 200 bucks for 14 oz's and up.

            P.s mine are red.

16 oz is perfect. The extra weight will help develop your handspeed and when you spar people dont want to spar with anyone with anything below 14 oz.
              16 oz. is juuust right.

I don't know which Ringside's you had, but I use to have Ringside 14 oz's and were made of all-cowhide leather, it was the best f**kin' glove I've ever owned.

I've never had Windy gloves, but just 2 weeks ago I tried 'em on at this local MMA shop in my area and they had a heavybag in their back area, I really liked 'em. Better than Twins
