Margarito vs cotto second fight

I think cotto was fighting fine. he made cheato miss a lot and when ur getting hit with bricks ur fight plan goes to hell. i think cotto was going to tko margarito in 8-9rds.

u can see cheato's face in both fights (mosley-cotto) he was very f@cked up in cotto's fight.

btw: for some people out there: u don't get stronger after every rd. ur punches get weak. but not in the case of margarito with the plaster.

He hasn't been rocked at 147. Judah stunned him a little, but he was by no means rocked. Mosley never hurt him, people just assume he was hurt because he thought he had the fight in the bag and started boxing in the later rounds.

His chin isn't what didn't hold up in the Tony fight. He was just a beaten man, I don't think that fight is indicative of a bad chin.

Cotto's chin has been solid at 147. I agree it's not iron, and I don't get the feeling watching him fight that he can't be KO'd. But he hasn't been rocked at 147.

Judah stunned him, correct but Judah is a small welterweight who I think should be fighting at 140. Cotto felt Mosley's power, that is why I think he got on his jets the last couple of rounds.

A nuthugger goes beyond..I've never called Cotto the GOAT..or claimed he's had the most SOLID chin I've ever seen..but the haters try and discredit him for any slight thing they can use against him..first it was POWER and he's been DROPPIN cats from day 1..than it was SPEED and he was beating Mosley to the Punch..now it's his CHIN! and has took FLUSH shots from some of the most powerful in both 140 and 147 and has been pulled down once and took 2 knees!..

Nah man, Mosley never hurt him. That's probably my favorite fight, I've seen it more times than I can count. Cotto never got hurt, he thought he was ahead by way more than he was. He was eating big shots, to be honest, to this day when I see him eat some of those right hands I'm expecting him to get hurt. He has that aura of vulnerability so I almost can't believe he doesn't get hurt in that fight, but he doesn't.

Marg definitely hurt him, but in the end, I didn't feel "wow Cotto's chin failed him", ya know? It was more of like "wow, he had nothing left". Marg's body work did a TON in that fight. But until the 11th Cotto was fighting back and had his moments in pretty much every round but 2 of them.

At 147, so far, Cotto's chin has proven to be sturdy. Nothing more, nothing less.

he was boxing mosley and the fact is that he was faster than mosley in that fight. i thought mosley was going to win because of his speed and chin but it was all the way around.

every chin is suspect IF u get hit with loaded gloves. there's no way in heaven that cheato did all that damage in 2-3rds with those slow ass punches.

I see what you're saying but to me one of the turning tides of that Cotto-Margs fight was the 7th round where he rocked Cotto. He also rocked him in the 10th. It wasn't just all body work.

i'm not a cheato hater...i'm a hater of any boxer that cheat. marg used loaded gloves against cotto and was going to use them against mosley. and let me tell u....mosley was going to get kill in that fight.
