I see what you're saying but to me one of the turning tides of that Cotto-Margs fight was the 7th round where he rocked Cotto. He also rocked him in the 10th. It wasn't just all body work.

I can respect your opinion, though I disagree.

I think Cotto's chin at 147 has held up well. The only time we've seen him truly hurt was in the Margs fight. But hasn't "danced" once at 147.

If you're saying the jury is still out on his chin, I could maybe agree with you.

If you're saying you don't think his chin is good, I would definitely have to disagree with you.

Nah man, Mosley never hurt him. That's probably my favorite fight, I've seen it more times than I can count. Cotto never got hurt, he thought he was ahead by way more than he was. He was eating big shots, to be honest, to this day when I see him eat some of those right hands I'm expecting him to get hurt. He has that aura of vulnerability so I almost can't believe he doesn't get hurt in that fight, but he doesn't.

Marg definitely hurt him, but in the end, I didn't feel "wow Cotto's chin failed him", ya know? It was more of like "wow, he had nothing left". Marg's body work did a TON in that fight. But until the 11th Cotto was fighting back and had his moments in pretty much every round but 2 of them.

At 147, so far, Cotto's chin has proven to be sturdy. Nothing more, nothing less.

he was boxing mosley and the fact is that he was faster than mosley in that fight. i thought mosley was going to win because of his speed and chin but it was all the way around.

every chin is suspect IF u get hit with loaded gloves. there's no way in heaven that cheato did all that damage in 2-3rds with those slow ass punches.

But I don't think it was even his stamina. It was probably a mixture of stamina, caused by excess moving which was totally unecessary. That comes from the poor gameplan.

And also Margo's body work was very effective. That played a big roll in taking his legs from him.
