Barrera has always had a Thousand Puerto Rican Fans. We love boxing as a sport and we love our hisppanic heritage and will support latin boxers always. We'll respect boxers no matter what their ethnicity; for that matter!

I for one was a big Margarito Fan; that was unless he was fightin a Puerto Rican. But after all this crap He has lost all of my respect.

well when i see the puerto rican members here makign fun of mexicans talking about "MOWING" like the guy on this thread then i think to myself whte people see us all as mexicans anyways. and puerto ricans don't cut lawns??

im happy Barrera, one of my fave great fighters is against this ****in scumbag. Margarito is a disgrace to mexican boxing and needs to be punished worldwide. I would want him to get banned for life but i want to see Cotto beat the living **** out of him worse than Mosley did first.

what margarito did was just plain wrong, and i truly do believe he had been using plaster for other fights as well. how long he had been using them is a matter of debate, but it definetly showed from the second cintron fight on,up until he got caught. i do believe he used them in the cotto fight.after the fight people in puerto rico started saying that maybe margarito was on steriods,for the way he beat cotto,because there was no way margarito could beat him like that,now we know why.a couple of weeks ago i was watching tv aztecas fight between segura vs. coachila,and i saw capetillo working seguras corner,i said to myself coachilas corner better check those wraps.capetillo as well as margarito shouldnt be allowed near a gym much less a prize fight,ever.

Interesting what you said about Capetillo in a corner when he is suspended in USA. I guess that the only way that the US comissions can put a stop to this have all boxers that uses Capetillo services or fights against Margarito, suspend them for 1 year also.

Also if theres not going to be any change in the punishment of 1 year to Margarito, base on the new results of the plaster they should make it very clear to him that if he fights someplace else they would add a year per fight that he has outside the USA, to the original punishment.

Having said that i do agree that he should be both banned for life!!!!!

what margarito did was wrong and should be banned!!! he has no more credibility!!! that being said i think alot of boxers were using this and margarito is just the one that got caught!!! i bet all the other boxers are happy it wasint them getting busted and are glad they got away with it!! now lets see if all the K.O. punchers in boxing still have power in their next fights!!
