Mexico has a great heritage of boxers thru out history. Is just a shame when boxing has the lowest level of fans along comes Margarito and adds another reason not to watch my beloved sport.

Plain and simple he got caught trying to cheat in the worst way and should be banned with his trainer for life. Win at all cost but within the rules, knowingly putting somebody's health at risk is more a criminal mentality for personal gain. Don't believe that he didn't know what was going on when his hands were being wrapped and also believe that this is not the first time he has done it.

Otherwise a love the rivalry PR boxers against Mexican boxers. It brings a lot of emotion and excitement when the events take place. Margo definetely doesn't represent Mexican boxers. He should come clean and start putting this behind them

Marg didnt do anything, he was clean for the Mosley fight. And I havent turned on Tony and neither have thousands of others, he will come back more popular than ever.

I can't hate on early (early as in right after the Mosley fiasco) supporters of Margarito who've changed their tune. I can respect that. I just don't get the Marga******s who are very quiet in here after talking all kinds of ****e before the plaster elements were confirmed. They dug a hole so deep that nobody can get them out now. Especially those bragging about Margarito's last wins, like they know they were 100% legal. Nobody knows that so let's not go there. What we do know is that he attempted to hit Mosley with something other than fists wrapped in gauze and tape. That is criminal. Kudos to Marco.

And if you're gonna bring up Trinidad, bring also the wraps test results. Otherwise, just sit there and think about how much time you wasted supporting & rooting for a cheating criminal.

Once again, before January 24th I was the biggest non-Mexican Margarito fan. Also, I don't want to hear from Kermit Cintron anymore. Somebody should load up Angulo's gloves; discreetly this time.

Oh those ****ing Mexicans.

Much respect for about 98% of the Mexicans on these forums (not naming names of the exceptions, there are only a very small number of exceptions, and most Mexicans on here deserve massive props for their posts).

But can you be sure the Mexican boxing commissions will really ban Marg? I hope so.

This is what i've been waiting for, the results of the handwrap situation, this is what i was dying to know, i may be late, and its because my computer is slow n full of virus but damn, i want to see what every margarito follower on this website has to say, to see if they are still behind their countrymen. I understand that its much pride but what he did was wrong in every way. I agree with barrera as well, and if boxing is the only way he can provide to his family then why did he have to endanger his chances? Yea he needs money to survive and for his family, but he can also live a day to day life just like alot of mexicans are doing in their country, if its not fair for them to live like this why should it be fair for margarito when he did so wrong to the sport of boxing and made a bad name for those mexican fighters. Something has to be done.
