There really was nothing interesting about the posts that you provided. It just seems like this juvenile was making personal remarks towards a writer who is in a much higher position of relevance than himself.

Mandrake deals in satire. "higher positions of relevance" dont dictate his writing style or presentation.
In other words, he does it for the love with no compromises.
And Kevin Iole deserves that kind of treatment so in his case its entirely appropriate.

I have a feeling this Mandrake is you.

Nonetheless, if he was a good writer, he'd be on a site or publication that had the tools to platform his "talents". Not an anonymous blog site.

From what I've read of this Mandrake, he doesn't really format his sentences well or have anything approaching a grasp of proper punctuation. He also seems to be a hater.

Thomas Hauser and Graham Houston are great writers.

This site has some fine contributers as well. I could mention Cliff Rold and Jake Donovan. I love when they respond in threads about their work.

i.e. you hate ***s because of their "agenda".

Mandrake is amused by your observations. As he stated earlier, he is not interested in writing for anyone other than himself. If Mandrake were so inclined, he is confident that he could be published on a site or publication. However, this doesn't interest Mandrake.
Mandrake deals in satire (not hate) and does it purely for his enjoyment and that of others. Mandrake has no intention to monetize his blog.
Since Mandrake does not get paid, attention to grammatical structure isn't a high priority, but rest assured that this is not the case in Mandrakes personal life.
              Nevertheless Mandrake appreciates your comments.

I can tell, you're like a satire of a boxing writer. There are many posters here who can format a story much better. Let's return this conversation back to the subject of "real" boxing writers.

Thomas Gerbasi IMO is the best writer when it comes to profiling someone. As far as columnists are concerned, few are on par with Michael Katz.

Gerbasi, Katz, are good. I prefer Doug Fischer style and Hausers style though.

Regarding Mandrakes careless formatting. As Mandrake has more time to devote to the site you will see the quality improve all around.
As for now most of his posts are done quickly and on the fly.
And in case you were wondering the fellow being punched in the photo is not Mandrake.

I agree on Detloff being a good writer. Not that I necessarily co-sign on everything he writes (in fact I disagree with quite a bit of what he has to say), but he's never scared to tell it like it is, and certainly doesn't write like a guy who fears the man that owns the company (unlike his Editor-In-Chief).

Surprised to see so many guys **** on Eric Raskin. The worst that can be said about him is that you know he's never played the game. I usually enjoy his articles.

I agree with those not very fond of Michael Rosenthal. Terrible writer, and I find it hysterical that The Ring still snubs its collective noses at a lot of sites while this guy serves as their online editor.
