My personal favorites are "Mr." David P. Greisman, TK Stewart, Jake Donovan, Lyle Fitzsimmons, Cliff Rold - AKA the guys who keep me informed on boxing info.
Thomas Hauser is really an amazing writer, it's hard to really capture what he's meant to boxing over the last 20 years or so. His background as a lawyer gives him an edge in understanding the griminess of professional boxing.
Gabriel Montoya was a real darkhorse for a long time, great to see him getting his shot on MaxBoxing.
My all-time favorite, the late-Jack Newfield, is untouchable IMO as far as investigative journalists are concerned.
Jim Slater... he writes for Boxing Weekly .. A British mag He also writes for ESB
He is the most BIASED and oversensitive ******* the world has even known..and prolly one of the only people that I don't know in person that I would fucking choke to death given half the chance..
Most of The Ring writers after british fans booed at the national anthem. One even went on to state every boxing riot or general misbehaviour of british fans over the past 25 years or so. Like theres never been a riot at MSG?? pathetic.

The Ring has the worst boxing writers - Raskin, Goldman, and Rosenthal are awful.
That magazine will be discontinued before too long, unless they fire some of those idiots and hire some better ones.
