I could have swore he blamed the weight, he also said he was sick before the fight. In fact I know thats what he said. Sounds like a bull**** excuse if I ever heard one.

A few Abraham fans accuse him of ducking, but nothing harsh. Im not usually big on race, and im not even sure if thats the reason, but Pavlik does get away with fighting nobodies

Well maybe he gets some slack because his title reign just started and he fought killers to get there. I think Pavlik has proven himself worthy. If he doesnt fight Sturm or AA after mora though, the **** will really start flying.

Pavlik doesnt get a pass. If anything, he is under rated and over hated at this point. I dont know whether or not he has asked for a Hopkins rematch, everyone knows he wouldnt get one.
After he smashes Mora and takes out Abraham people start to swing back in his direction. Thats just how it goes.

He didnt even try for a rematch with Bhop. And after Mayweather beats Cotto people will start to swing back in his direction(meaning that untill it happens he's still unwilling to take on the biggest threat).

Yeah, Pavlik is one of my fav. fighters on the excitment level. But if he doesn't take on a serious threat by the end of the year he will be off my list. I think Taylor has a WAY better resume then Pavlik does. Pavlik is just the man who beat the man. Taylor didn't take on 3 tune ups to in order to start defending against serious fighters.

I think people give Pavlik a pass for some reason. Since his career defining wins against Taylor he has done nothing. But Mexican, Puerto Ricans, and Blacks are all ducking fights and scared if they're in the same spot as Pavlik is in. Just my opinion.
