Kelly Pavlik vs Arthur Abraham SERIOUS Analysis

Ok let me start off by stating I will be completely un-biased in this conversation and in matter of fact I believe Pavlik will walk away with the victory.

My point I once held that AA will win this match by KO has recently changed because I respect Pavliks chin much more after watching the B-Hop fight. I know what your thinking B-Hop isn't known for his power but lets not forget he packs a pretty good punch and he did drop Calzaghe (who in his own respect has a pretty good chin). So the fact that AA will catch Pavlik with that one big power punch an KO him is far feched for me, which brings me to my next point......

If AA has a chance to win this fight he MUST NOT fight in sperts. AA is known to cover up with his shell like defence and explode with a couple of combos twice or three times a round. With the high activity level Kelly fights at does two or three sperts will be overlooked by the judges and Pavlik just doesn't stop coming...............

I agree I think Pavlik will just be too tough and too active and will get it done via decision. Abraham had incredible power so he could potentially stop him but on the balance of probabilities I am happy to sit with Pavlik winning by decision.

if AA would be more active during this proposed fight that would greatly increase his chances of winning but thats not his style and I don't know if he could change his style for this one fight........

I think Pavlik wins this one by decision. To put it simply, I think he outworks Abraham to a decision, stylistically, this is a better fight for Pavlik than it is for Abraham as well.

If AA got stamina to go 12, he'll win. I don't see Pavlik stoppin him, so he'd likely be lookin to outwork him to a UD. AA brings some decent pop, and anything he lands will be landin on a guy comin in. I think he can use a boxer-puncher style to counter Pavlik to a UD, or possible late KO.

Unless Abraham drops Pavlik repetatively I see no way in hell he could possibly win a decision. Pavlik works close to twice as much as AA in the ring. Unless Abraham seriously ramps up his workrate, which I don't think he will, a decision is pretty much impossible for him IMO.
