    Andrade: "I'm not really a boxing fan, and I don't like going to fights"

    in regards to butes latest title defense:
    "but the Bell Centre did everything they could to keep my next fight happening, so my manager, Al Haymon, asked me to go."

    huh? am i interpreting this wrong? or can some one please explain what he meant?

            Lot of boxers aren't fans of the sport. Maybe because how much of their time it takes, that they can't or don't wish to follow it?

                Most boxers dont like boxing. It is there job and when they are not training they dont want to do anythign associated with it.

                  I imagine a lotta fighters are passionate about their own careers, but not the sport as a whole.

                    A common misconception about professional athletes is that they love the sports they participate in.

                    The difference is, Pro Baseball and Football players have press agents that tell their players to tell the media they love the sport. It helps their fan base OBVIOUSLY.

                    But truth is, if you've been doing something everyday since you were 7 years old, you are bound to become very, VERY tired of it
